In recent weeks I’ve been planning my meals with two cookbooks on hand but, this week, I opted to make a dent in the (recipes I’ve been bookmarking online. I recently switched over to using delicious for bookmarking (recipes and it’s fantastic. It makes everything so simple; I’m really not sure why I didn’t do this years ago! Along with delicious, I found (recipes in the 2009 Cook’s Country Annual.
Art will be gone for meals 2 through 5 this week, which will be standard for many weeks to come. I’ll be gone for meals 6 and 7, but I’ll probably be cooking on Thursday to help stock the fridge with food for Art to eat – he just hadn’t picked what he wanted me to make at the time of posting. Edit He has chosen Chicken Piccata!
Last week was a pretty rice-heavy week and this week looks like it will be as well. I never intend for things to be this way, but it seems like it happens. I’ll get all my meals together and then realize 5 out of 7 have pasta or some such. This week it’s rice.
