Local Food 8/4/2012

I can’t believe it’s August already!  Our farmers seem to be dropping like flies as there were lots of no shows at the market today. 

I still managed to get everything I was after, and then some.  I picked up potatoes, sweet potatoes, little tomatoes, a few little quick breads, and a TON of onions. 

I picked up some little yellow tomatoes too, but forgot to unpack them for the first picture.  We also got a block of cheddar cheese, nectarines and white peaches, one big tomato, cucumbers, yellow zucchini, and eggs.  It was definitely a productive week at the farmers market for us!
