Yay! The market is open again! Of course it’s early in the growing season so there wasn’t much produce to be had.
I did come away with a dozen lovely eggs, five bunches of green onions, a nice pile of Swiss chard, and a bunch of parsley that you can just see peeking out in the back.
Then I got home and realized that I’ve already got 3 cartons of eggs in the fridge, so this might be a quiche-filled week! I have no idea yet what I’ll be using everything for, I’m just thrilled to finally have local, fresh produce again.
Art and I plan to go strawberry picking tomorrow at the farm beyond our backyard. Yum.
