A Return to Blogging

I have been extremely neglectful of my blog.  I even went to one of the top restaurants in the country, took pictures, and never got around to posting about it.  What is up with that?  This is something I'd like to work on changing, and I hope that I'll be able to get back to blogging around May 2014.

I'm not going to try to catch up on all the recipes I've cooked during this hiatus.  Unless I cook those again, they'll be lost to time.  Attempting to catch up is a much higher mountain than I've got time to climb.  But I am going to try to keep on top of regular recipe posting for the future as well as weekly meal plan updates.

Wish me luck!

Up and Running!

Thanks to Art's hard work, my blog is up and running again! I hope you all like the slight redesign.

To make things a bit more complicated, I bought a new computer during the upgrade so my files are all in different locations now.  As a result, I'm going to try to plow through posting my "Cooked to Post" recipes and not bother posting pictures along with the recipes for now, since those are all on the old laptop.  Once I finish, I'll be able to switch over to the new laptop to add pictures to the posts that need them.

Prepare for recipe spam!  (No spam recipes, though.)

The Book Post - 2012

I like to keep track of things during the year and two of my major non-cooking hobbies are movies and books – both of which lend themselves to list making.  I keep lists of these things throughout the year so I can see what I’ve seen and read and I figured I’d share those lists here as a Fun Thing To Do at the end of the year.  I know it’s not quite the end of the year, and I might finish another book or two before the year is over, but I’ll just update the list when that happens.  If you’re curious about the books, click the link to read more!

The Movie Post - 2012
